Alternative Opinion: Gives no freedom of choice in food.
Point to respond to it:Can rotate the menu according to students’ preference and variety can be ensured.
Explanation : It is true that many people doubt that this scheme imposes a standardized food on children without giving room for their choice. However, the scheme can be implemented with due respect and allowance for students’ taste and choice. On the one side, within the limit of the budget, maximum variety can be ensured and on the other, the menu itself is flexible and accommodative of different preferences. Students are taken into confidence and advance request for particular menu is favourably considered, of course, as the monetary scope allows.
