Reading Comprehension - Multiple Matching

Read the following article in which four students speaking about homework and then answer the questions on the following page.

A. Muneera

How do you feel working at home after six hours of class works and one hour journey by a packed school bus? Tiring, isn’t it? I believe no student likes to toil one or two hours in the evening with exercises and tasks and so do I. It looks life is all work and no fun. It is heaven for me if I am able to watch my favourite cartoons on TV after the school time, enjoying my popcorns all the while. Still, my teachers would bet I am regular with my homework and my notes are always completed. But, that is a matter of my responsibility than passion. In spite of these things, I must say, I like to learn English poems by heart and whenever we are asked to do it, I turn to my homework with what you may call an excitement. s

B. Jabir

Usually I reach home after the school at around five in the evening. Our school bus has a special design with seats arranged in circles. So we sit talking and sharing all sorts of funny things. So, one and a half hours fly off in the blink of an eye. Of course, my teachers give me homework. My feel of doing them really depends. Some teachers give works which are exciting and some load us with boring tasks. If the given tasks make me do something my own, I like them. For instance, last week, our science teacher asked us to do an experiment, to bud in order to make a plant. We all loved doing it

C. Sheena

Our teachers give a lot of group activity in class and I enjoy most of them. I also have a thrill in our tussle with ideas. So, school time is seldom hard for me. It is not that appealing to be in bus with students, all drooped and exhausted. But, what is good for me is that I reach home just after fifteen minutes of travel. The first thing I do after my coffee is to complete my homework. If it is left for another time, my mind gets held in it and I am not able to play. I think, if we make a schedule for homework, it won’t be a burden

D. Yunis

Overall, I am an average student, but I believe sincerity in work can make things done. I ride my own bike for nearly 30 minutes after the school and then go to play after a tea. I spend two hours for homework alone in the night time before my dinner. As dad always says work is an opportunity, not a burden, I train myself not to grumble about workload. What I do is to get up early in the morning to revise. In my case, it has helped to grasp faster and clearer.
